Hi,

Thanks to all who responded to my post, in which I asked for titles of
movies that depict minstrel shows.

Here's a list of some of the titles people mentioned . . .

The Playhouse (1921)

The King of Jazz (1930)

Swanee River (a.k.a. The Life of Stephen Foster) (1939)

Babes in Arms (1939)

Babes on Broadway (1942)

Minstrel Man (1944)

The Jolson Story (1946)

Yes Sir, Mr. Bones (1951) Ed Wood's Jail Bait (a.k.a., Hidden Face, 1954)
uses footage of a minstrel scene from Yes Sir, Mr. Bones.
