Hi everyone,

Does anyone employ any kind of research ( Marketing Research methods like,-Audience Surveys, Focus Group Discussions,Projective techniques,Story completion etc ) to understand the audience's needs, generate new ideas, -or- test the acceptability of theme/story/concept /star cast-(or-test anything important) in the production or pre-production stage?

I am a researcher from India who wants to develop a research plan to assist the process of film making.
I would be thankful if someone could give me a feedback on this .

Thanks in anticipation
Joe
