Maybe because they are too often seen in video or tv versions , and not in
a cinema.
BLOW-OUT and SCARFACE make almost no sense unless seen 2.35.1. The sensual
aspect of filmmaking and watching has almost vanished, but De Palma, crazy
as he is, is a born visual artist, and therein lies the power of his movies
- when seen at the movies.
