Castle is said to have wired theater seats to give patrons a little
electric tingle at the appropriate moment.
P.S. As a youth, Castle, who was known as The Spider, once jumped in front
of a subway train, shouting, "This is the end of The Spider." The train
slowed to a stop before it could hit him.
