I would suggest that you consult Giannalberto Bendazzi's new book (new in
English, that is), Cartoons (Indiana UP). He has written quite a bit of
information about her. Another source is Robert Russett and Cecile Starr's
book, Experimental Animation (Da Capo). Jayne Pilling's Women & Animation
(BFI) has information, too, but I'm pretty sure it's out of print.
Finally, you might consult Bill Moritz at Cal Arts. He's written on Lotte
Reiniger and has a great knowledge of German animation. If you don't have
the school's number, e-mail me and I'll give it to you.
