I mentioned this place in another context a few weeks ago, but for film/tv-
related tourist sites, Dodge City, Kansas has to be one of the big ones.
 
I haven't been there for two decades (!), but when I visited, the GUNSMOKE
connections were played up strongly--eg., the Longbranch, which featured
"Doc's favorite chili" and such fare.  Of course, there are lots of movie
associations with the Earps, Bat Masterson and so forth, even though they
were also legends in their own time, thanks to Ned Buntline and his ilk.
