        The Montreal metro (on the Atwater Line) used to have an
        animated piece in the mid 70s or so.  When I saw it, I
        always thought it was an ad for Direct Film (a one hour
        photo developing house). Direct Film's corporate symbol
        was a cartoon bird.  In the animation piece, the bird
        would "fly" along for a few seconds.  There was no
        mention of the store, I don't believe.  I can't remember
        the initials of the tansit commission, but the area code
        is 514 if you want to call and try to track it down.
