Magic ---
I don't actually remember ever having seen it, but Magic definitely comes to
mind. I once met a guy my age who was conducting a life long, casual study
asking people our age if they had seen it and if they were terrorized and
traumatized by it. Like most of his other respondents, I don't remember it
specifically, but I do have a sort of irrational, from-the-spine kind of
terror response when I see vantriloquist dummies or stills from the movie.
Go figure. Conspiracy theorist that he was, the guy had a strong notion
that we were all subject to some sort of sinister plot to scar a generation
or something.

The horror flicks I DO remember and like are mostly the 1930's variety --
black and whites where Dracula's creepy but to much of a gentleman to spill
your blood messily.
