    I find Northern Exposure to be wacky and touching - a good combination
that keeps your attention. Although I don't catch it each week, I do have
favorite episodes (although nothing like my favoritism for Star Trek). One
was when Shelly was captivated by cable TV.
    However, I also tune in to capture glimpses of good old Washington -
where I'm from.
