Howdy!

Can anyone suggest some good CRITICAL essays on Anime. I've gone through
the Film Literature Index and have come up with relatively little. I did
find A. Newlitz's piece in Film Quarterly (a good essay) and her essay in
Bad Subjects. I'm also aware of the essays in Dreamland Japan and the
Complete Gde. to Anime. Other than those and a handful of reviews and
Variety articles, I'm finding very little. Am I missing something or is
Anime really that underexplored?

In advance, thanks alot!
