The small TV set would work well, because it lets you sneak in a
little exposition without it being overtly obvious that you're doing
so. Maybe you could put the TV in a walkee-talkee type device (or
maybe even a wristwatch) and have it also display reconnaissance
maps, etc.
On the lighter side, how about a Swiss Army knife with a laser blade?
