You may want to consider THE SEARCH (Fred Zinneman, 1948), THE BIG LIFT
(George Seaton, 1950), both starring Mongomery Clift: THE YOUNG LIONS
(Edward Dmytryk, 1958, again with Clift): JUDGEMENT AT NUREMBERG (Stanley
Kramer, 1961, with Clift once more!): WHITE NIGHTS (Taylor Hackford, 1985).
There is also a TV Series called THE COLD WAR( On History Channel, I
