Rupert Murdoch wants the PBS station licenses for his new cable stations.
 
If PBS goes private, smaller stations will go belly up. Murdoch will
buy the licenses real cheap.
 
That's why Murdoch made the book deal w/Gingrich.
That's why Murdoch met with Bob Dole.
 
Does it matter that most young kids get plumked down in front of the set to
watch the shows? No. Murdoch wants his licenses. So what if Power Rangers
gets reclassified as "educational?"
