In response to Jeff Porche's question about movies set in New Orleans, how
about Elia Kazan's "Panic in the Streets"? A nifty, non-Mardi Gras rendering
of this profoundly seedy city.

By the way, I can enthusiastically recommend the Gumbo Pages web site at
http://www.webcom.com/~gumbo/food/red-beans.html. Great recipes and lore, and
Chuck there probably knows about every New Orleans movie ever made.
