We invite applications for an anticipated tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in the Media Studies Program, a liberal arts major that combines the study of media history and theory with the techniques of production. Candidate will teach four courses per semester, including University-wide introductory courses in media literacy, as well as video production and television production. The ability to teach radio production and advertising is also desirable. There will also be opportunities to teach history and theory courses in the candidate's area of research. Ph.D. preferred; A.B.D. or M.F.A considered; must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, creative work and scholarship, and a caring approach towards students.
