Tad Danielevski taught at Brigham Young University in the 1970s and 80s,
then transferred to USC I believe.  Also of note--when Mercedes Ruehl
accepted her 1992 Best Supporting Actress Oscar for THE FISHER KING, she
thanked Danielevski for "teaching me everything I know about acting."
