Adrian: Odd, isn't it? I remember reading several articles early last summer that "The Truman Show" was the only film -- at that time -- worthy of "Best Film" nomination....that Carrey was a shoe-in for Best Actor consideration.....and that the ONLY film "even on the horizon" for the remainder of '98 was July's "Saving Private Ryan". Funny how the Academy always seems to have a short memory, particularly once the film distributor marketing machines kick in.
