Hi all!

After seeing Roberto Benigni's 'concentration camp comedy' LA VITA E' BELLA twice, I began thinking about how general it is to use the real tragedies as an element of fun. In my opinion Benigni's film, although its anti-fascist essence, involved in a moral problem of transforming a real life tragedy into a kind of fantasy.

Could anyone please note the populer films & books like that, dealing with genocide and having big market success?

cheers,
