#1) Film and Media Studies
The Radio-TV-Film program in the Department of Communication at
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is seeking oneAssistant Professor with
expertise in Film and Media Studies beginning in the 1999/00 academic
year. Ph.D required. Courses may include: Understanding Radio,
Television and Motion Pictures (a Freshman level, general education
elective), Radio-TV-Film Communication (required for all RTF majors),
History of Cinema, Telecommunications in the Information Age, and
Seminar in Radio-TV-Film. Commitment to research, undergraduate
teaching, and service to the university is required.
#2) Broadcast News and Writing
The Radio-TV-Film program in the Department of Communication at
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is seeking oneAssistant Professor with
expertise in Broadcast News and Writing. Ph.D. required. Courses may
include: Writing for Broadcast Media, Advanced Media Writing, Broadcast
News Workshop, The Documentary, and Radio-Television-Film
Communication. Commitment to research, undergraduate teaching, and
service to the university is required.

The Radio-TV-Film major at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh enrolls
approximately 300 undergraduate students and includes an FM radio
station and a cable television channel. With a faculty-student body
of 11,000, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is both a major
undergraduate campus and a regional graduate center in the statewide
University of Wisconsin system. The UW Oshkosh campus is located along
