Ref 98118.      Available from January 1999.  The appointee will be required to
teach in the historical and critical studies component of the Screen
Studies programme, to undertake research and to assist in administration.
Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in one or more of the
following areas: new screen technologies; screenwriting; history and theory
of television; postcolonial media.
 
Essential criteria include an excellent Honours degree in Screen Studies or
a related area, a higher degree for appointment to Lecturer B and/or an
equivalent combination of professional experience/training, a commitment to
research within the history and/or theory of screen media, and a commitment
to excellence in teaching.
