This is my wife's list and I'm just peeking in so I may be out of line.
BUT, the perverted film which sets the standard, the perverted film
which is THE yardstick non pareil, the perverted film which is un-
paralled in its perversion, the perverted film which by which all
other perverted films can be measured is (drum roll) 120 Days of Sodom
by Pier Paulo Passolini. I've seen rereleases of pretty much all the
films mentioned but I don't think I've ever seen this one rereleased.
I saw it about twenty years ago.
Allow me to tell you about it.
It's divided into three parts. After the first part, lots of people
left because of its incredible grotesqueness and absolutely incredible
gratuitous cruelty. I stayed ( I went by myself) because I couldn't be-
lieve it could get worse. It got worse. And the third worse than that.
If you ever have a chance not to see it, grab it.
