It's actually cheaper to shoot in 35mm and edit on reduction 16mm workprint
then to blow up finished super-16mm film to 35.
Super-8 looks just as good when blown up (if done right, such as by
Optimage), as it does when projected on a big screen using a Super-8
projector with a xenon lamp, though sometimes these projectors have a
brighter, whiter light than many 16mm projectors.
