Without being mentioned specifically by copyrighted name, Barbie (and Ken)
have become fodder for commercials, animation, etc.  There is that strange
Honda (? Toyota?) commercial with the male toy in his car picking up a
Barbie-esque doll from her dollhouse, all under (literally) the approving
smile of a Japanese man ("Mr. Honda"?) and his dog.
 
On Nickelodeon's relatively new cartoon show (called, I think, KABLAM!),
there is a segment called "Action League Now" in which action toys
form a would-be superhero force.  The Barbie-esque doll is "Thunder Girl"
 
Needless to say, the entire group suffers a lot of abuse.
