If you believe in the Trinity, both are part of one and the same!
But in the context of THE RULING CLASS, the statement is even more appropriate
since O'Tool
's character begins by thinking of himself as a loving and forgiving Christ
but by the end has transformed into the Old Testament God of vengeance.
