Dear Colleague, The Washington University Performing Arts Department is conducting a natioal search for a Lecturer in Film and Video Production. This is a full-time one-year, renewable, position not on the tenure track, to begin in August, 1997. Candidates must have teaching experience and expertise in the areas of studio and location video production, lighting, use of SVHS cameras and editing equipment as well as knowledge of advanced audio techniques as they relate to video. Preference will be given to candidates with an MFA and/or a strong background in the production of narrative, documentary, experimental , corporate and commercial videos. Knowledge of 16mm synchsound production also an advantage. The deadline is March 15, 1997, or until the postion is filled.
