I really love THE HAUNTING, based on Shirley Jackson's book "The Haunting
of Hill House."  It is perfect in black and white, a very stark film.
 
Also, ALIENS is a fantastic movie for the season.  I know some of you say
it's sci-fi, but if we have to class it, I place it in the horror section.
