Are the accents in "Fargo" accurate?  Oh Yah, you betcha!
 
Having been born and raised in Minneapolis, I found the Minnesota dialect
hilariously dead-on, albeit highly exaggerated.  In many films the Texas or
Southern or New York accents are over the top, and in this case it's the same
thing - but with an accent that has not been used a million times in other
films.
 
Although I don't know if the whole restaurant scene with the Asian high school
classmate of Marge's lying and crying to her had anything to do with the rest
of the film, I liked the way we first heard his accent over the phone and later
found out that he was not Scandinavian-American.
 
So, ya like that answer, then?
