FACULTY POSITIONS AVAILABLE
                             SOUTHERN ILLINIOS UNIVERSITY

                        COLLEGE OF MASS COMMUNICATION
                                           AND MEDIA ARTS
 
**Two tenure track faculty positions are available in a new master's
program in interactive media - MCMA Position 24 is for an associate
or assistant professor, and MCMA Position 25 is for an assistant
professor.
 
POSITIONS INVOLVE:
**Developing and teaching courses in multimedia project development,
authoring, design of user interfaces, or evaluation.
**Producing creative work and/or research in multimedia.
**Building relationships with multimedia practitioners to enhance
student internship and employment opportunities, and to develop
funding opportunities.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
**An advanced degree (MA, MS, MFA, Doctorate)in a related field to
multimedia design, development, evaluation, research, and/or
criricism is required. Candidates without a doctorate should have
extensive multimedia experience.
**A record of creative multimedia work and/or research.
