The College of Liberal Arts seeks applicants for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor to teach in an interdisciplinary film studies program. Appointment will be in one of several academic departments, depending on the candidate's credentials and research interests. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D dissertation in film criticism, history or theory, with the degree in hand at time of appointment. Publications and teaching experience are required; experience in curriculum development and program administration is desirable. The candidate will regularly teach introductory and advanced film courses to undergraduates, with occasional graduate courses also available.
