THE 30TH ANNUAL NEW YORK EXPOSITION OF SHORT FILM AND VIDEO NOVEMBER 21 - 23, 1996, THE NEW SCHOOL ~ ANIMATION ~ DOCUMENTARY ~ EXPERIMENTAL ~ NARRATIVE ~ NEW DIGITAL MULTIMEDIA New York's premiere showcase for cutting-edge and classic independent shorts seeks animation, documentary, experimental and narrative works under 60 minutes in length, as well as digital multi-media works of any size. The New York Expo, now in its 30th year, is one of the nation's longest-running annual festivals of short independent film and video. The Expo seeks films/videos completed since 1994; CD-ROMs since 1992. Student and international entries are welcome. Public screening formats: 16mm and 3/4" NTSC video only; 35mm and Super 8 films are shown in video projection. Preview on 3/4" or 1/2" video, NTSC only; CD-ROMs in Mac or PC format. Entry fee: $35.
