The International Film & Television Workshops--Rockport, Maine call
for entries for the summer workshops and Master Classes in Rockport,
and new European Film Training Center in Tuscany, Italy. You will find
information on three programs that are designed with college film
students in mind.
 
The Summer Film School:
This intensive four-week course is for students who want to learn how
to make a film or video and provides basic, hands-on production
experience with the latest cameras, lights and digital editing
systems.  College credit is available for this course, and your
students will leave with a finished project.  This course is offered
in Tuscany in May and June, July and Aug. in Maine.
 
The Semester in Rockport:
This three-month, intensive program is equivalent to a full semester's
work (18 credits) and is designed to teach film students the entire
production process, from writing to editing.
 
Graduate Study:
The Workshops become a college this year, offering an MFA as well as
an Associate of Arts degree in film, cinematography, editing and
directing.
