We've been talking about high rental fees for 16mm films. What about
the large amounts that indie film and video makers have to cough up
to go on the festival circuit?

I just finished a feature-length documentary, with alot of
volunteers, good luck, and wet string. I have to be _very_ selective
about where I enter the work since I'm paying these festival fees out
of my own pocket. It looks like that gives an unfair advantage to
producers with larger budgets. Thoughts?
