The Directors Guild of America represents ten thousand seasoned professionals in the film and TV industries. Our members are directors, unit production managers, assistant and associate directors and stage managers who fill key creative and leadership positions in the making of theatrical films, TV programs of all types and commercials. Some of the members of DGA expressed their enthusiasm for passing on their knowledge and experience to film students. They 've agreed to do instructing, lecturing, or conducting seminars at colleges and universities with film or communications dept. without expectation of any honorarium for commitments of time up for a day, weekend or up to a week in length (although they do expect that their expenses (including economy class airfare) would be paid). A list that lists these members and including their credits in the industry and their teaching experience would be available on the internet: http://dga.org.dga/. If you are interested in asking one of the members to participate in your educational program, please call DGA Special projects at (310) 289-5366 and they will have that member contact you directly. ------G ---- To signoff SCREEN-L, e-mail [log in to unmask] and put SIGNOFF SCREEN-L in the message.
