****** I would trust the Macabe piece more than the other bio but it doesn't say (or at least i didn't see) when Godard actually did take Swiss citizenship. He must have done so if his passport is Swiss (and assuming his statement wasn't some cryptic joke but it does seem pretty clear and was made in English so there was no translation problem). The Macabe piece also later mentions Mieville as also being Swiss, which could merely mean of Swiss background. Hmmmmm.
