Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Film and Television Studies The University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand The University of Waikato invites applications for a Lecturership/ Senior Lecturership in the Department of Film and Television Studies. The Department has a strong research base, and candidates will be expected to make their own contribution to the departmental programme, in addition to the development of research skills with students and teaching in appropriate critical studies courses. Only one position is available. It will be filled at either the senior or the lecturer level. Applicants for the senior position will be expected to provide a substantial record of research and publication, and evidence of both successful administrative and teaching experience. Applicants for the lecturer position will be advantaged by evidence of sound teaching practice and an on-going research programme. Applicants will have PhD or equivalnet as well as a strong background in film and television theory. The current salary range for Lecturers is NZ$37,440 - NZ$49,088 per annum, and for Senior Lecturers NZ$52,000 - NZ$67,080 per annum.
