We would also like to spotlight the achievements of the National Film Board of Canada. Director Colin Low has been invited to keynote the conference. Papers touching upon film history are especially invited this year. The Association The Literature/Film Association was established in 1989 as an outgrowth of Literature/Film Quarterly, its contributors, and supporters to provide orderly and expedient future planning and to encourage humanistic approaches to cinema studies. For over a decade, LFQ conferences have been held at Salisbury State University, Towson State University, the W. Alton Jones Conference Center of the University of Rhode Island, and the Sheraton Ocean City Resort & Conference Center.
