I would suggest that you consult Giannalberto Bendazzi's new book (new in English, that is), Cartoons (Indiana UP). He has written quite a bit of information about her. Another source is Robert Russett and Cecile Starr's book, Experimental Animation (Da Capo). Jayne Pilling's Women & Animation (BFI) has information, too, but I'm pretty sure it's out of print. Finally, you might consult Bill Moritz at Cal Arts. He's written on Lotte Reiniger and has a great knowledge of German animation. If you don't have the school's number, e-mail me and I'll give it to you.
