I've been following the discussion of film showings inside/outside of class with interest. I teach video production and have never spent much (any) time showing clips. The semester is just too short and we've got so much to cover just mastering the operation of video equipment. As that may be... I've noticed, lately, that my students seem to be visually illiterate and do not grasp the concepts of angles, etc... Does anyone have any suggestions as to short clips etc. that I can show in class. I'm especially interested in anything that will help them grasp the esthetics of editing. -Missy -------------------------------------------------------------- Melissa Lee Price (Dr. Missy) | [log in to unmask] Dept.
