Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Film and Television Studies The University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand. The University of Waikato invites applications for a Lectureship in Film and Television Studies. The Department has a strong research base and candidates will be expected to contribute to the development of research skills in addition to teaching in various critical studies courses. Applicants should have a strong background in contemporary film and television theory and, desirably, an interest in one or more of the following: cultural studies, world cinema and issues of representation. Applicants should demonstrate succesful teaching experience as well as a substantial record of research and scholarship. Applicants will have a PhD or equivalent. The current salary range for Lectureres is NZ$37,440-NZ$49,080 per annum and for Senior Lecturers is NZ$52,000-NZ$67,080 per annum.
