Another thought--Did anyone mention the Agatha Christie chestnut AND THEN THERE
 WERE
NONE, pleasantly directed by Rene Clair (though hardly in the same league with
his earlier French films) and a great cast of character actors?  As you may
 recall,
10 people are called to a deserted island and pop off one by one.  They are
 informed
of their fate by a recording.
