----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Regarding the designs of opening credit sequences: Two examples that leap to mind are one the opening of Spike Lee's *Jungle Fever* where the credits appear as street-style signage with the theme song playing underneath; and the other being the 10 minute opeing tracking shot in Altman's *The Player* which, while the titles being somewhat commonly displayed, the film's characters and plot are established during the sequence, and two people are discussing the history and concepts of the type of shot in which they appear. I found this to be an interesting usage of the opening sequence, even if the actual titles are not unique.
