----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Frankly, this is one of those questions that suggests very little searching on the part of the questioner, but ... Bruce Conner is one of the most commonly discussed avant-garde filmmakers, so there's plenty available: I'd start with Scott MacDonald's interview in A Critical Cinema (full filmography and many references too), but there are good discussions in almost any study of American experimental cinema -- Sitney, David James, etc. A good essay on Conner appeared in Film Quarterly 31:4 (Summer 1978), and another in Wide Angle 8:3/4 (by James Peterson). But again, there's plenty available -- these are just some of the easy to find sources.
