----------------------------Original message---------------------------- First it has been my experience that some overseas distributers have their tapes available in VHS. That's the good answer. Conversion is more complicated. The simple way to do this might be to get a multi-standard vcr. We have one in my office and while the picture leaves much to be desired, it does work. The next, method is easy, gives high quality, sometimes, and is very, very expensive. Take your PAL, or whatever standard tapes to a professional video post production house and have them to the conversion. Sorry but I have no current prices on that kind of work. The quality would be very high, however. Good luck.
