----------------------------Original message---------------------------- I'm not sure if this will provide you with exactly the information you need, but a book published a few years ago, titled Off-Hollywood: The Making and Marketing of Independent Films, includes case histories of a number of feature-length films, fiction and documentary both. Among them: The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez; The Good Fight; Hollywood Shuffle; Return of the Secaucus Seven. It's from a study commissioned by the Sundance Institute and the Independent Feature Project (which also published it before it appeared in a trade edition published by Grove Weidenfeld in 1990. The author is David Rosen, with Peter Hamilton. Blaine Allan [log in to unmask] Film Studies Queen's University Kingston, Ontario Canada K7L 3N6
