re Gloria Monti's inquiry about articles on The Piano:  U. of Aukland,NZ,
is due to publish a collection of articles on the film, scheduled for Jan.
1995 release, titled, handily enough, The Piano.  I know other references,
have them at home, will get back to you with a few more (some of which are
to appear in that volume).
