I am not sure that latest on-line video system as Avid, Cube and others
can't give us "broadcast quality". In fact, I have been talking with a
lot of video professionals that are using on-line video editing instead
high quality formats as digital Beta and others. Not for archive
purposes, of course. Therefore, the tape format is cheaper but without
any doubt, CD-I and videodisc are better if we are talking about security and
longevity.
