I just got around to seeing Speed last night, after all the incredible things I've heard about. I suppose that if you took out the hokey dialog, filled the plot holes with a couple of Mack trucks, and gave Keanu Reeves (someone whom I normally like watching) a *second* emotion, it would possibly *tie* True Lies. I'm not saying TL was the *best* movie of the summer, but definitely better (at least more comprehensive) than Speed.
