George C.Scott and his wife Trish Devere(?) did a telelvision special
about ten years ago, it seems to me. He made a superb Beast.  His
performance as Rochester in Jane Eyre [ also TV adaptation] reminded me of
it. A loose archetypal connection, I suppose.
