The issue of VARIETY dated March 21-27, 1994 p52+ has a rundown of studio
initiatives toward developing new screen writing talent.  Some of these
programs include fellowships paying $25,000, while others have honoraria
of $1,000.  All, though, seem an opportunity to get scripts read by
people who might be able to further a neophyte career.
