The concept is real, but it's never been made.  In fact, Jean-Luc Godard
discusses it with Dick Cavett (!) in an interview from the mid-1980s.
 
P.S.  In that same interview, Godard twists Cavett's brain into little
pretzels as he explains why French intellectuals admire Lewis.  It's
something to see.
